Mothers' Day 2007 Annapolis, MD

Our clever son & daughter-in-law, Chris & Patti Van Brederode, surprise us every year by "kidnapping" Patti's mother, Pat Gilmartin, and me (and Lee) for a special getaway on Mothers' Day. One year, we went to Longwood Gardens near Philadelphia; another, we toured Gettysburg, PA, and had brunch at Pitty Pat's Tea Room. THIS year, Annapolis, Maryland, was our closely-guarded destination! We could not have asked for a more wonderful day - perfect weather and tons of fun! All I can say is that they will have a difficult time topping Mother's Day, 2007!
